JACOB PATRICK

DIRECTOR

I’m a director working across narrative, documentary, and commercial projects, building a cohesive body of work that moves fluidly between formats. My background producing at a high level has shaped how I direct - both creatively and practically - while I continue to push more fully into long-form filmmaking.

I’ve spent the past decade running Amalgamation Pictures, developing and producing feature films and television across both scripted and unscripted. Over the last five years, I directed and produced my feature documentary Sono Lino. In parallel, I’ve been head of production and a director at 1983 Creative, an award winning creative agency, making work for the likes of Netflix, Apple, Amazon, Disney, Expedia, the Academy, and many more.

Sono Lino is a completed feature documentary following legendary glass artist Lino Tagliapietra, centered on legacy, mastery, and the passing of knowledge across generations. The film has received strong recognition across its festival run, with multiple awards and consistent audience response, and is now actively seeking distribution.

I’m looking to align with a team that can step in immediately on the sales side and help position the film for a wider release.

Quitting is a scripted feature centered on identity, pressure, and the cost of walking away, set within the world of high-level baseball. The film is designed to capture the most authentic and highest-level baseball ever put on screen, all within a grounded, low-budget independent framework. The project is partially packaged, with John Ortiz attached, and is fully developed and ready to move into production.
